Abby Wendle is a freelance multimedia journalist. She has worked as a producer for the morning radio news program The Takeaway and interned for WNYC’s Radiolab.
Abby has an M.S. degree from The Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism where she produced print stories for ZoomNYC and videos for NYCTake2.
She has worked as assistant producer for BBC producer Ramon Goni and as a live newscaster for NPR affiliate WFUV where she also reported on employment and education. She has interned forĀ Sun Come Up, an Oscar nominated short documentary and written about business for the Huffington Post and politics and culture for TheWip.net, TheIndypendent.org and PopMatters.com
Before arriving in NYC, Abby worked in community radio in Asheville, N.C. She graduated with honors with a BA in Liberal Studies from Flagler College and studied journalism and cultural anthropology at Khazar University in Azerbaijan.
